The Core Conditions for Personality Development

Consider the concept of personality. Is there a good understanding of this?   How does it play with our self-awareness and our sense of ego? Should we be interested in building out a personality, or just be content to let things be?

At the heart is the idea of the dignity of each individual to have opportunities in life. What are the conditions for opportunities for growth in family, relationships and institutional life?

The evidence base is formed from therapists and social scientists including Roberto Assagioli, Carl Rogers, Erik Eriksen, and Anton Antonovski. Rather than provide perfect pathways, we will suggest 'good enough' approaches. These ideas also form the basis of mental health.

From my broad experience in education and studying social psychology, the results are described in my book:

Promoting the Personal Development of Young People: Why Personal Agency is Important for Families and Education.
